The Farne Islands

A short video from a boat trip to the Farne Islands, a National Nature Reserve off Northumberland's coast managed by the National Trust.
The footage was captured in early April 2025, shortly after the islands reopened following a two-year closure due to severe bird flu. Seabird populations are still recovering, with puffins and other species returning but nesting activity not yet at peak levels.
Filmed on a Panasonic Lumix G9 ii with a Panasonic Leica 100-400mm lens.
